Saturday night, chill session…
it’s been a pretty great day so far- woke up, ate some eggs & grits, cup o’coffee with my loves. Went to an estate auction (kind of sad to see someones entire life up to sale) didn’t bid on anything- but they did have a very cool little banjolin (sounded like the one Jerry used on “Stealin” on Shady Grove)= awesome. Also a crazy little Gretsch kids banjo (über cool), plus a KICK ASS bluegrass record collection.
After that was nap time for Annabelle so I took the time to sit and read a little bit of Twilight. I have to admit I’m a sucker for vampire stories. But I’m completely obsessed with this book, I have to make myself go to sleep at night & find myself like daydreaming about reading it. I know, it’s crazy.
So I would have kept reading but then the game started and we watched FSU win. Feels good after losing last week.
Now we are childless- lover is scrawling on the dobro making wicked sounds- about to go to a pickin party with some friends. I’ll sing a song for you bloggy.
