The cleansing…
It’s a theme this year already. This topic was brought up to me in a round-a-bout way yesterday. But it’s something that definitely holds merit, at least as far as I’m concerned.
Let me back-track a bit if I may. Some people regard the year 2012 as some huge, cataclysmic event that will take place. Perhaps end of days, Armegeddon, etc. Some other people (myself included) believe it to be the beginning of a new awakening of humanity. An ascension to a new and different realm of reality where love is the primary rule. I know it sounds a bit “new-agey” but whatever. I really think (and the election of Barack Obama confirmed this even more) that humans are on the brink of an new opening of minds, hearts, spirits.
That people are more ready now, than ever before, to take our hearts, wear them on our sleeves and accept what the universe gives back to us. I believe we are more ready than ever to cultivate peace and love in our lives, hearts and in turn, our world.
Thus bringing me to my title of this entry, the Cleansing…
A dear friend told me (through my sweetheart) that he believes this year will be a year of cleansing- in preparation for this awakening. It makes sense. I have been sick, body cleansing itself of harmful germs. Danny has stopped smoking, which has opened him up to all sorts of things, mentally, physically & spiritually. As soon as we got home from vacay yesterday, we commenced to “deep” cleaning our entire house (which feels FANTASTIC, by the way).
Our country, on the end of an excruciating 8-years of turmoil and idiocy, are cleansing ourselves, preparing for a new president who is full of promise and decency and hope.
I, for one, look forward to and welcome a cleansing theme this year. I am looking ahead with optimism and excitement. May you be blessed and hold yourself in the light and love that is offered to you. Happy New Year! kg
